Is there really anything people might be interested in? I grew up in Arizona and miss Spring Training in the worst of ways. Went to college in So. Cal., where I met my wife, Leslie. We have five boys and no we are not going to try for a girl. I spent 14 incredible years working at Central Christian Church in Mesa, AZ (6 years as College Pastor, 4 years as Student Ministry Pastor, 4 years leading the Worship Team). Never dreamed of planting a new church, but here I am…God has His ways of getting our attention.

I’ve lived in too many places to list here in this space. So, here’s the sum-up version, in not so complete sentences: Born in California, raised in California and New Mexico. Went to college in Southern California and Nebraska, and lived/worked someplace different each summer just because I could. Got my degree in Education with a specialty in Art. Spent 6 years on the mission field in Central America working with street kids, schools, community, agriculture, etc. and learned to speak Spanish as a bonus! I loved waking up to life there each day! I have helped raise more children than I can count, but I have none of my own.

I’m a Southern California boy. Born and raised. Spent a year going to school in Ohio, and I’m still thawing out from that. I took classes at more schools than I care to remember, but finally finished at the University of LaVerne. My beautiful wife Erin and I have been married for almost 7 years now, and we are enjoying our beautiful little girl, Abigail.
Stuff you might not be interested in:
I’m deathly afraid of heights. I hate it when people stick a knife in the ketchup bottle. I’m addicted to the “caramel apple empanadas” from Taco Bell. In January of 2006, I was the Partner of the Month at the Mill Creek Town Center Starbucks, which means I can make Cyndee’s latte in 18 seconds. (Editor’s note — If you really want to know the dirt on Josh, ask Dean about his former career as a child star in Hollywood.)
Things I like:
